This morning at the park in the neighborhood we collected some big pretty leaves. When we got back at home I showed the boys how we could see the shape of the leaf by sticking the leaf under the paper and then rubbing with a crayon over the top.
It was difficult for them to do on their own, so I had to help hold their pencil and hand to press hard enough in big sweeping motions.
Will didn't really get what we were doing, but seemed content watching. Westley was interested for just a few minutes.
