Toddlers & Tiaras: The Boy Version

At the campground, they had a Easter Bike Decorating Contest. As you can tell from this picture, the adults got way more into it than the children. A decorating contest is my kind of thing, so I was definitely  ready to participate. I told Grandma Martha that the Grandma of the Year award was contingent on winning this, so she stepped up too. Not sure why Dad and Grandpa were so willing to be involved... but they had some of our best ideas.

Lisa came just before the contest and told us we looked like a bunch of pageant moms frantically taping on final decorations at the last minute, and torturing our children with bunny ears.
We were frantic because we only started decorating 10 minutes before the competition began, and because we were trying to decorate with any random Easter things we had (as we were not told of the competition at the time we made the camping reservation!)
But the children cooperated pretty well and Westley one the first prize that was awarded - Most Original

And although she made fun of us, Lisa didn't want Drew left out, so with just moments to spare got him decorated too
