Cardboard House

I saved these cardboard pieces - I think from when we received Westley's new bed.
Tonight I gave them to Westley with as much masking tape as he needed.

He decided to make a house, with different rooms.
I helped him hold pieces together as he got them taped on.
Using the blue painters masking tape was much easier for him than traditional masking tape.

He wanted to keep building on it, and wanted to play with his play horses in it, but we ran out of the cardboard pieces and ran out of time before bath time. Maybe we will add more to it tomorrow.

Will was being a little grouchy wanted nothing to do with the activity (which I'm sure Westley was glad about that) but he did smile for a picture.

It's true, kids would rather play with the box and wrapping than the original gift.
