Smoothies are a favorite at our house.
Since Will has been sick and not eating much of anything, I thought he might at least drink this, and he did!
The secret is using frozen bananas. Whenever we have bananas that are getting too ripe we peel them and cut them up into pieces and freeze them.
Then, we will either make a chocolate smoothie with frozen bananas, chocolate powder/syrup, plain yogurt, milk, flax oil and protein powder
or
a fruit smoothie with frozen bananas, other frozen or regular fruit, plain yogurt, V8 fusion juice, flax oil and protein powder
Both boys enjoy helping add the ingredients and turning on the blender.
