Paper Weaving

Westley saw something similar to this in a craft book and said he wanted to do it. That craft would definitely be too hard for him, but I thought maybe he could do some weaving with strips of paper - with help. Cut lines in one piece of construction paper with a razor blade type knife. Then cut another piece of paper into strips. First Grandma Kathy helped Westley do this, then he did it again with me. He definitely needed help to do this, but he was really excited about how it looked when it was done

I've done this with a bit older children as a craft before where once finished, you cover it in contact paper (or laminate it) and use it as a placemat
