Sunset Park is a new park in San Marcos. It is huge and has two playgrounds with more modern play equipment.
There is also a water feature. Today was warm enough for the water so both boys jumped in. They love having the water squirt down on them soaking their heads... yet oddly, the same two boys cry every night when I try to rinse the shampoo out of their hair.
No pictures today - I was too nervous to run to our blanket and get my camera while they were playing in the water area. The ground of it is made up of hard rough rocks (so they don't slip easily) but if they do fall it is a guaranteed skinned up knee or big bump on the head. Made me too nervous as they ignored my pleas to walk and be careful so I'm not sure how often we will do this.

Hi Gina,
Yeah I took my youngest and her friend there and the water part is fun but they were so excited they couldn't stop running on that cement part. Slippery! Amazing park though!
