Steering Wheel

Whenever Westley gets a chance when we are getting into the car, he sneaks into my driver seat because he wants to "drive" the car. Today I was surprised he went for my suggestion to sit in his carseat and pretend to drive - using one of Will's oversized teething rings as a pretend steering wheel.
So when we got home we made him a slightly more realistic pretend steering wheel. Using a paper plate we helped him cover the edges with duct tape. Then he drew on a horn and some more color.

Tomorrow we will see if he wants to bring it in the car and how long he will be content with this in place of touching my real steering wheel :)

Will made one too so he an take his in the car too!

POST UPDATE: Westley did take it in the car the next day and thoroughly enjoyed driving with me on a 20 minute car ride :)
