Westley lines up the play food on the couch, gets our shopping cart, a toy cube that is the cash register and his wallet with a dollar bill in it, and pretend plays grocery store. We take turns being the shopper or checker. The checker swipes the item by the cash register and says "beep" and then places it into a bag.
This time we extended the play as he used a "credit card" in his wallet, got a receipt and would sign the receipt.
Will got to play too (for a few minutes until Westley pushed him out of the play). It was so cute to see that he totally copy what we were doing as he pretended to scan items and say beep!
