We learned this brain building game from Westley's preschool. We found 3 small items and laid them out on the floor. To improve him memory we name and point to each of them, and sign the word for each of them (tonight we did, policeman, football, and phone). Then I cover them up and say "Abracadrabra twiddlee dee, I took one away, which one don't you see?" And he has to figure out which item is missing.
It's a hard game for him, but he does a lot better when we sign and say the names of the objects ahead of time.

Gina, I am following your blog and appreciate all the effort you are putting into it. I wish I had your ambition in coming up with fun new stiff for the boys to do every day. Right now it is all I can do to keep Owen from seriously enjoying Cole in his many attempts to tackle him throughout the day. But please continue to post as I think it is fantastic. I have also sent the link to a few of my friends in MN who say that they are enjoying it as well.
Thanks for the feedback Misty!
I understand how the baby torture goes - it's heartbreaking too.
Will is starting to hold his own at our house. We'll see where that takes us!
